Choose a project and a safe archive location

Pick the right build, a local archive location with enough space, and keep your normal backups.

  1. Confirm you have the right build for your region and a supported SketchUp version.
  2. Choose a local archive location with enough free space and a backup plan.
  3. Keep ordinary project-file backups. Version history is useful, but it is not a backup strategy.
